Hello brothers and sisters,
This month I have attended my first
National President visit. We met in Halfway, Oregon where I participated in an
Aisle of Honor, welcoming Brenda Bryant our National President. That evening a
few of us asked Brenda about her previous visits and later played a dice game
of Left, Right, Center. The next day we went to the Halfway museum with tour
guides Dale Taylor and Galen West. Then we were taken to Cornucopia an old mine
town above Halfway where Bob Taylor shared the home where he was the last person
to be born in Cornucopia. For lunch we went to the Hell's Canyon Inn going
toward Oxbow and that evening we had dinner at Post 7847. What an experience,
it will not be my last; even after having a break down while heading home it was
a great time.
The rest of the month will probably slow down,
though I will be traveling again to Halfway to complete District 6 visits for
our District 6 President Tanya Melnikoff on the 12th.
I hope this month finds everyone in good health
and spirits.
Please
keep any in need in your prayers
