Hello Brothers and Sisters,
The beginning of this year we have felt many losses. Our first president to reach the age of one hundred and currently we have lost two past department presidents Amanda Borland and Helen Kelly, as well as my mother. Those of us still here must go ever forward, our veterans still need us to look out for all of their well-being.
Mid-winter had a great turn out and the weather was with us for safe travel. The speeches present were very good. It is always so good to listen to the youth of our fine state. I hope our winner goes far.
Convention is just around the corner; time always seems to fly between Mid-winter and Convention. I know that the memorial service is going to be emotionally draining for me personally, but I know that with your support I can get it done with proper respect to those who have gone on before us.
May your Valentine's Day be sweet and joyful, this month sees me another year older.
