With September being
National Suicide Prevention Month, I am sharing a prayer for you to pass all at
your meetings. Have a blessed Month.
Loving God,
We
come before You with hearts open for all who carry heavy burdens, seen and
unseen.
We lift those struggling with despair, loneliness, or thoughts of ending their
lives. Wrap them in Your light, remind them they are not alone, and fill them
with hope for tomorrow.
We
pray for families, friends, and communities touched by loss. Bring comfort to
grieving hearts and the courage to speak openly about pain, healing, and love.
Bless
the helpers—the counselors, teachers, leaders, healers, and everyday
neighbors—who walk beside those in need. Strengthen them with compassion and
endurance.
Guide
us to be voices of encouragement, hands of kindness, and hearts of
understanding. Help us to listen without judgment and to respond with care.
May
this month remind us that every life is precious, every story matters, and
every person is deeply loved. Grant us the wisdom to break the silence, the
courage to reach out, and the grace to bring hope where it feels lost.
Amen.
