NOVEMBER

Hello Brother and Sisters,

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying this fall weather.  This month we will focus on the set up of the room prior to the meeting by the conductor.

Each auxiliary conductor should arrive to the meeting early to set up the room properly for the business meeting. The alter should be set with the alter cloth and bible (closed position) The charter shall be placed at the front of the room, close to the president’s podium. When the bible is open no one shall pass between the bible and the charter.

Flags should be placed at the front of the room unless they are to be presented at the beginning of the meeting session. Officer stations should be set up unless you are conducting a round table meeting. Copies of the agenda should be placed at each station and given to the guard to pass out as members enter the meeting. If there are extra podium books, ask members that may have forgotten their copy if they would like to borrow one for the evening.

Escort members that may have mobility challenges and make sure they are comfortable. Insure they can see and hear from where they are setting. Making our members comfortable will allow for a terrific and productive meeting.

Let’s make our meetings as warm and inviting as possible so members come back again and again. Have a great month everyone.
