Which team can rally the most support for one of Central Oregon’s most
extraordinary veteran‑serving organizations?
The Central Oregon Veterans Ranch affectionately known as "The Ranch” is a
pioneering, healing community where local veterans find connection, purpose, and
support.
Department President Terri Steller has chosen the Central Oregon Veterans Ranch
as her 2026–2027 Special Project, inviting Auxiliaries across Oregon to help
strengthen the Ranch’s life‑changing programs for veterans.
This year comes with a fun twist!
Every donation brings us closer to seeing Commander Joe Steller
appear at the June 2027 Department Convention dressed as a chicken.
Whichever group raises fewer donations will send their leader either
President Terri Steller or Commander Joe Steller across the stage in
a full chicken costume at next year’s Convention. Support veterans,
empower The Ranch, and help decide who’s doing the clucking in
2027..
